Turner Industries Group, LLC has an opening for a Janitor to join our Team in the Decatur, AL area. The janitor will be responsible for assisting skilled maintenance and construction workers in performing their assigned duties.

Essential Qualifications:

• High school or equivelant
• General knowledge of cleaning
• Valid driver's license
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Functional Requirements:

• Maintains premises
• Ensures rest and working areas of offices, industrial buildings and outer grounds are in clean and orderly condition
• Performs a combination of dusting furniture, walls, fixtures, and equipment
• Sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, and buffering floors
• Polishing furniture, fixtures, and trimmings
• Using janitorial supplies
• Cleaning lavatories, showers, and rest rooms
• Performs a variety of non-mechanical tasks
• Spends time on the job or may be transferred from task to task as needed

Compensation:

$15.50/hr

Physical Involvement:

lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.;

correction; hearing with or without correction; wearing respirator and other PPE; stepstool use; work in
