As a Transportation Practice Leader for our Construction Management team in Orange County, you'll lead construction operations, drive business development, and oversee high-profile transportation projects while supporting the continued growth of our CM practice across Southern California.

What You'll Do
As our Transportation Practice Leader, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for transportation construction management projects including highways, bridges, roadway improvements, interchanges, and transit infrastructure:
- Practice Leadership & Strategic Growth
Guide the growth of the transportation CM practice, support business development, mentor staff, and strengthen client relationships with agencies such as Caltrans, counties, and local municipalities. - Construction Leadership & Owner Representation
Serve as the senior owner representative for complex projects, providing oversight to ensure construction aligns with approved plans, specifications, and regulations. - Project Delivery & Performance Oversight
Monitor contractor performance, construction progress, and project milestones to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and compliant with agency standards. - Stakeholder Coordination & Issue Resolution
Collaborate with public agency clients, designers, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders to resolve construction challenges and maintain project momentum. - Team Leadership & Mentorship
Provide guidance and mentorship to resident engineers, inspectors, and CM staff to build a strong, high-performing transportation CM team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 15+ years of experience leading complex transportation infrastructure projects
- Active California Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Strong understanding of Caltrans and local agency construction standards
- Demonstrated success managing complex transportation programs and client relationships
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $185,000 - $220,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
